Price and payments
Do I pay forever?
No. CA$350 to start, then CA$180 a month for 24 months, CA$4,670 in total. Or CA$4,500 once. Paying in full costs less. After the term, Vestra's bill stops. Vestra keeps renewing the domain and the hosting, and you are not billed again for them.
What happens after the 24 payments?
After your 24th monthly payment, the site and the domain belong to you and the domain is registered in your name. After the term, Vestra's bill stops. Vestra keeps renewing the domain and the hosting, and you are not billed again for them.
What if I miss a payment?
The site stays up for 30 days. It is not deleted. You can pay the remainder at any time and close the term with no penalty.
When do you reply?
We reply within one business day, Atlantic Time. Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 Atlantic Time. Closed weekends.
Changes and the owner dashboard
Who changes the prices, text, and photos?
You do, in the owner dashboard, whenever you like. A change you make there is free. A change we make is CA$75. The one-time plan includes three of those.
What if the first design is not right?
If the first design is not right, we keep working on it until you approve it. The CA$350 start is not refunded.
Search and Google
Will my site be first in search?
We don't promise a ranking, a first page, or a position. We set the site up so it is ready for search. Work toward positions is separate, with no guaranteed place.
Ownership: site, hosting, domain
Can I take the site with me?
Yes. You can export your pages, text, and photos. After the term you can move the site. The owner dashboard is part of the site. The domain is registered in your name. After the term, Vestra's bill stops. Vestra keeps renewing the domain and the hosting, and you are not billed again for them.
What is not included
Is advertising included?
No. Advertising is separate work, and we don't promise that it pays for itself.
What do I need to bring?
Your texts and your photos. We put them on the site. Writing texts and photo shoots are not part of the service.
